This structured course for Type 1 Diabetes will enable you to start effectively using carbohydrate counting and insulin dose adjustment as a method of controlling diabetes. This course is for those who are managing patients on basal bolus insulin.Patients with Type 1 diabetes usually manage their blood glucose levels with a basal bolus insulin regimen. A basal bolus regimen uses long-acting (basal) insulin to keep glucose produced by your liver under control, with additional short or rapid-acting carbohydrate count.
