Overview

This certificate course in Diabetes Mellitus will enable healthcare professionals to learn more about insulin pumps: from how it works, to insulin types, to side effects, and guidance on how to prescribe safely.

The course will provide basic knowledge through online modules and assessments which healthcare professionals can apply in the care of diabetes with Insulin pumps.

The course is designed to update the General physician with the essential knowledge needed for practical management of Diabetes with Insulin pumps

The course builds upon prior knowledge of diabetes management. The student will be able to demonstrate competency in the following areas after attending an insulin pump class:
